Do You Own A Website That Is Not Getting Traffic?

Being an SEO professional for so long, my money comes in whether I decide to charge for this training or not. So, I decided not to charge you a dime for this training. This one is on the house. So, take out a notepad and start taking notes because by the time you are done reading this down to the bottom, you will be on your way to driving traffic to your website with organic SEO strategies!

How Search Engines Calculate Their Results

When teaching free SEO lessons, I feel it is important that my students understand how search engines generate their results. This way, it will be easier to manipulate them in a white hat way. With that said, take a look at that spider web to your left. Imagine that there is a reason that we call the internet the web. Well there is. Websites link to each other creating links in this web. The point in the spider web with the most strands linking to it will of course be the strongest point in the web. Search engines work in this same way.

All day long, search engines send what is called “Spiders” out to surf the web and find the links that it contains. Each link pointing to your website counts as a vote for your website. The website with the highest amount of “backlinks” will obtain the top spot for the keyword they represent.

The keyword that a link represents can be found in it’s anchor text. For instance if I want my credit card website to show up on page 1 of Google for the keyword “Sky Miles Credit Card Offers”, I will link to my website using this keyword. This link would look like this Sky Miles Credit Card Offers.

How You Get The Links

O.K. so, you know you need the links and, I will admit that getting them does take a bit of work. However, once you master this, youwill be well on your making money online. So….are you ready for the big secret?….here ya go:

Building Links Is As Simple As Writing Content!

Now, I understand if you don’t believe me yet but, let me explain. Have you ever heard of websites called blogs or ezines? How about forums or social networks? Have you ever created a book mark in delicious? Well, all of these websites are databases of user uploaded content. Obviously this content benefits the website but, did you know it can benefit the submitter as well. By writing articles, submitting profile bios even by creating bookmarks, you could be creating links to your website.

Below, you will find step by step detailed instructions for each form of creating links. All links that I will teach you how to build will have the do follow attributes and will be from very high page rank websites. To stay up to date with our training, I suggest you bookmark this page and visit at least 1 time per week for training updates!

Lesson 1: Building Links Using ExpressionEngine Forums!

ExpressionEngine is a lot like the WordPress of the forum world. It is a software that many forum owners use to make managing their forums a simple task. However, as SEO experts, this opens an ability to create free backlinks for us. Because so many high pr websites use ExpressionEngine, it is simple to create a repetitive process that will result in a great amount of backlinks at the end of each day!

Step 1: Obtaining A List Of High PR ExpressionEngine Forums!

The first step in this process is obtaining the list of ExpressionEngine Forums that you will be working off of. You want to make sure that the lowest PR ExpressionEngine Forum you work with has a PR that is greater than or equal to the PR of your website. If you are not sure what the PR of your website is, simply go to PR Checker to find out.

Now that you know the Google PR of your website, you also know what the minimum PR of the ExpressionEngine Websites you should be working with is. I have compiled a list of hundreds and hundreds of ExpressionEngine Forums. All of which have high PR. I will give these lists to you for free as well! Generally, I charge for these depending on the PR of the ExpressionEngine Forums in the list however, today, on this site, they are free! Simply click the link in the top menu of this site entitled High PR ExpressionEngine Forums and choose one of our free lists to use. They will be in order from highest page rank to lowest. Simply click the link to the list you are interested in and get it for free!

Step 2: Create A Brand New Email Account

The next step is to create a new email account. There are so many free email account providers online that I couldn’t really refer you to one. Simply choose the email provider that you are most familiar with and create a new email account.

Step 3: Register For New Accounts

Now that you have your list of high PR ExpressionEngine Forums, it is time to put this list to work. Finding the registration page is simple. Let's say the domain name of the forum is http://www.testforum.com. Simply add the /index.php/member/register to the end of the domain and place it in the address bar. If done correctly, the domain placed in the address bar should look like this http://www.testforum.com/index.php/member/register and, you will come to a screen that should look a lot like the image to the left.

You will see that with 100% of the ExpressionEngine Forums, registration will be absolutely 100% FREE! This keeps with the theme here, Free lessons, Free Tools, Free SEO!

Step 4: Writing Your ExpressionEngine Website Bio

Now, is the important part. Updating the profile to get the links. Your profile bio is where you are going to get your links. So, it is time to write your bio. Your bio should include your keywords in it. So for instance, I want my dad to optimize this website for the keywords Free SEO Training and SEO Training. With that said, here is a great bio for my dad to use:

"Hi, my name is Steven Rodriguez, I am working with my son Joshua Rodriguez to show that with a little Free SEO Training, it is possible for anyone to rank high in search engines. Are you interested in SEO Training? If so, visit www.RankJumperSEO.com for more information!"

Now, as you noticed, I used keywords. Now we want to turn those keywords into links. ExpressionEngine uses what is called BB Code which means that you will need to enter the following code to generate a link: [url=http://www.yourwebsite.com]Your Keyword[/url]. So, my dads links will look like this [url=http://www.rankjumperseo.com]Free SEO Training[/url] and [url=http://www.rankjumperseo.com]SEO Training[/url]. In the bio they will look like this:

"Hi, my name is Steven Rodriguez, I am working with my son Joshua Rodriguez to show that with a little [url=http://www.rankjumperseo.com]Free SEO Training[/url], it is possible for anyone to rank high in search engines. Are you interested in [url=http://www.rankjumperseo.com]SEO Training[/url]? If so, visit www.RankJumperSEO.com for more information!"

Step 5: Clear Your Cookies And Repeat

The next step is to clear your cookies and repeat the same process. Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your computer by websites. These pieces of data interact with the website letting it know things like you are logged in. Because you will be making multiple accounts on each ExpressionEngine Forum, you will want to clear your cookies between each set of accounts. To do so if you are working in firefox, simply click the orange box to the top left -> click "history" -> click "clear recent history" -> make sure cookies box is checked -> click "clear now"!

Lesson 2: Using Hub Pages For SEO

As explained above, when you want to show up at the top of search engines, you need to build links to do it. One of the best article directories to build links from is Hub Pages. The reason for this is that Hub Pages is a very high ranked article directory. Therefore, links from this directory will be of high quality to your website. With that said, here are the steps to building links with hubpages:

Step 1: Sign Up For HubPages.com

Before you can start submitting content in Hub Pages, you will need to sign up. This process is very simple. Simply go to the Hub Pages website and click sign up! Once you click this link, you will be brought to the member registration page. Simply fill the form required for your registration. Once this form has been completed, click the link in the email sent by Hub Pages to activate your account!

Step 2: Start A Hub

The key to getting high quality back links from Hub Pages is by writing very informative hubs. However, when you write your hubs, you do not want them to seem promotional. For instance, lets say I was going to write a hub on Hub Pages to promote this website. The title would not be something like:

Best Free SEO Traing

It would read something like:

The Tricks To Marketing Your Website

What you will want to do is click start a hub and write about a general topic within your niche. Provide useful free information and include a link or 2 in each article that points to your website!

For your links to be do-follow from Hub Pages, you must maintain a score of 75! Soon I will be providing tips to raise your hub pages score!
